| When the Jokyu War broke out in 1221, Morito sided with the Imperial Court, was sent to Hokurikudo to confront the shogunate army led by Tomotoki HOJO in Mt. Tonami, Ecchu Province, but was said to be defeated in the battle and killed in action. |
1221年（承久3年)に承久の乱が起こると朝廷方に付き、北陸道に派遣されて越中国礪波山で北条朝時の幕府軍と戦い敗れて戦死したという。 |
