The last lord of the domain, Iehiro UEMURA, became a governor of the domain by Hanseki Hokan (return of lands and people to the emperor) in July, 1869, and resigned from the position by Haihan-chiken (abolition of feudal domains and establishment of prefectures) in 1871, which led to abolishment of Takatori Domain. |
