It is known that Kenko visited Kamakura at least twice; he was very close to Sadaaki KANAZAWA, who was Gokenin (an immediate vassal of the Shogunate in the Kamakura and Muromachi through Edo periods) when Kenko visited him, and subsequently became Shikken (a regent) of the Kamakura Shogunate. |
