| In the following 1236, he made self-ordination at the Todai-ji Temple with Kakujo, Ensei, and Ugon, and went to the Kairyuo-ji Temple; then in 1237 he returned to the Saidai-ji Temple and made kekkai (to restrict a certain area to prevent priests from prohibiting the precepts) to revive the Ritsu sect. |
翌1236年（嘉禎2年）覚盛（かくじょう）、円晴（えんせい）、有厳（うごん）らと東大寺で自誓受戒し、海龍王寺を経て1237年（嘉禎3年）西大寺に戻り結界し、律宗を復興させた。 |
