| In 1253, Sengaku submitted the textbook to the Retired Emperor Gosaga for inspection and was presented with the poem, "Precious stones tangled in the weeds at the Sea of Wakanoura have now all been polished well"from the Daijo Tenno (the retired Emperor) who admired the work. |
建長5年（1253年）にはこれを後嵯峨上皇に奏覧し、これを賞した太上天皇より「和歌の浦藻にうずもれて知らざりし玉も残らずみがかれにけり」なる歌を送られている。 |
