The bakufu decided to order sake breweries to pay as much as 50% as a business taxes called sake unjo (one of the taxes which was assessed on workers in all kinds of industries except for the agriculture industry) on the current price of sake, and this enabled further increases in tax revenues. この機会に幕府は税収のさらなる向上を企図して、造り酒屋に対して現行の酒価格の五割もの酒運上(さけうんじょう)と呼ばれる運上金を課すことにした。 |
