In this region, due in part to the tradition of passing down the art of soba making for generations at each household, there were no soba restaurants for a long time but, in recent years, some soba eateries were started by Motoyama Teuchi-Soba Shinkokai (Promotion Society for Motoyama Hand-Made Buckwheat Noodles). この地域では家庭毎に蕎麦打ちの技術が伝えられていたこともあって長らく蕎麦屋が無かったが、本山手打そば振興会の手によって蕎麦屋が開店した。 |
