In 905, he was authorized by Priest Shobo of Daigo-ji Temple to establish a new Buddhist temple, Nenkakuin, through a Kanjo ceremony (succession ceremony for Buddhist priests) and was appointed as the head of Daigo-ji Temple in 925. 905年(延喜5年)醍醐寺の聖宝から灌頂を受け、念覚院を開き、925年(延長3年)醍醐寺座主に就任した。 |
