Excavations from 1956 to1957 found that the original Hoko-ji Temple was a magnificent one-pagoda-three-hall-style temple with a central five-storied pagoda surrounded by a middle kondo, an eastern kondo, and a western kondo. 昭和31~32年(1956年~1957年)の発掘調査の結果によれば当初の法興寺は中心の五重塔を囲んで中金堂、東金堂、西金堂が建つ一塔三金堂式の壮大な伽藍であった。 |
