Upon the oracle that Narihira received when he visited the Ise-jingu Shrine, he himself carved the statue of Sho Kannon, and prayed to Buddha for the consolation of the soul of dead Imperial Prince Abo at this palace, giving it the name of 'Futaiten Horin-ji Temple.' 伊勢神宮参詣時に受けた神勅を機に、業平が自ら聖観音像を刻み、「不退転法輪寺」と号して阿保親王の菩提を弔った。 |
