It is presumed that the residence was used in the era from the latter half of the sixth century to the first half of the seventh century, and it is considered having been resided by the 'Shirakawa no Kuni no Miyatsuko' governor who followed the person buried in the Shimousazuka tumulus. 6世紀後半-7世紀前半の遺跡と推定され、下総塚古墳被葬者の次代を担った「白河国造」の居館と考えられる。 |
