In 878, Ezo (northern part of Japan) Fushu prisoners caused a revolt in Dewa Province, andofficials such as FUJIWARA no Yasunori, ONO no Harukaze, who were known for their resourcefulness, were assigned the task of restoring the peace; by the following year they had succeeded in putting down the revolt (Gangyo War). 元慶2年(878年)、出羽国で蝦夷の俘囚が反乱を起こしたため、能吏で知られた藤原保則、小野春風らを起用し、翌年までにこれを鎮撫せしめた(元慶の乱)。 |
