In 1684, Harumi SHIBUKAWA, from the Tenmongata shogunate, completed Jokyo reki, the first solar calendar developed by Japanese to replace Senmyo reki (Senmyo calendar) which had been in use for 823 years and the shogunate took the calendar regulatory rights away from the Tsuchimikado family. 1684年には、幕府の天文方が渋川春海によって、日本人の手による初の新暦である貞享暦を完成して、それまで823年間も使用され続けてきた宣明暦を改暦し、土御門家は暦の差配権を幕府に奪われた。 |
