In 1601 Genyu rebuilt Chishakuin Temple (which had relocated to the precincts of Neogro-ji Temple) at Shichijo, in Kyoto, doing so with Ieyasu TOKUGAWA's support, and later it became the grand head temple of the Shingon sect Chisan-ha. 1601年(慶長6年)に徳川家康の保護を受けて、玄宥(げんゆう)が根来寺にあった智積院を京都・七条に再建し、後に真言宗智山派の総本山となった。 |
