In 1584, when Hideyoshi conflicted with Ieyasu TOKUGAWA and Nobukatsu ODA in the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute, Narimasa SASSA invaded Noto Province in cooperation with Ieyasu TOKUGAWA and others, but Toshiie defeated and routed Narimasa at Suemori-jo Castle (the Battle of Suemori).
