In 1555, this temple was built for the first time in Sakamoto, Omi Province (Otsu City), by 玉誉清玉, but later on Nobunaga ODA became a believer of the religion, and the temple was moved to Kamigyo Imadegawa-dori Street and Omiya-dori Street.
1555年（天文24年）玉誉清玉が近江国坂本 (大津市)に創建したのがこの寺の始まりとされ、その後清玉が織田信長の帰依を得、上京今出川通大宮通に移転。 |
