Her Nyoin go title (nyoin go - a title of respect given to close female relatives of the Emperor or a woman of comparable standing) was initially named Reiseimonin from the Northern Court, but later on it was abolished, after she died her title was renamed Gokyogokuin from the Southern Court. 女院号は始め北朝 側より礼成門院(れいせいもんいん)と称されるが、のちにそれは廃され、死後に改めて南朝 側より後京極院(ごきょうごくいん)の号を追贈された。 |
