Chikashige, as other warlords in the Sengoku period, seems to have associated himself well with people of culture, and Shuryo SAKUGEN (1501 - 1579), who was a priest of the Rinzaishu sect, gave Chikashige a calligraphy, which is owned by Kyoto National Museum. 親成は当時の戦国武将の例に漏れず、文化人との交流も盛んに行っていたようで、京都国立博物館には臨済僧の策彦周良(1501年- 1579年)が親成に与えた墨蹟が収蔵されている。 |
