After the Heiji War, while the retired Emperor Goshirakawa and Emperor Nijo keenly confronted each other, on September 30, 1161, Tokitada's younger sister, Shigeko, gave birth to the seventh Imperial Prince (Norihito, later, Emperor Takakura) of Goshirakawa.
