According to a 1614 feudal law (okitegaki) pertaining to Komuso itinerant priests that was approved and advocated by Ieyasu TOKUGAWA, the Komuso were permitted to travel around Japan as part of their sect's martial training and to gain knowledge. 1614年(慶長19年)の虚無僧掟書により武者修行の宗門と心得て全国を自由に往来することが徳川家康により許されたと主張している。 |
