Yoshimitsu ASHIKAGA built a residence called Hana no Gosho (literally, Flower Palace) in Kitakoji Muromachi (Kamigyo Ward), which was used as a residence by the Shogun family until it was burned down during to the Onin War, and Ashikaga Shogun were also called as 'Muromachi-dono' after the residence. 足利義満は北小路室町(上京区)に花の御所と呼ばれる邸宅を建造し、応仁の乱で焼失するまで将軍家の在所となり、足利将軍は在所から「室町殿」と呼ばれた。 |
