The "Nihonshoki" states that construction of Hoko-ji Temple began in 588, with the dispatch of Buddhist priests and craftsmen from Baekje and the demolition of the residence of Konoha, ancestor of the Asuka no Kinunui no Miyatsuko, in Makaminohara, Asuka. 『書紀』によれば翌崇峻天皇元年(588年)、百済から僧と技術者が派遣され飛鳥の真神原(まかみのはら)の地にあった飛鳥衣縫造祖樹葉(あすかきぬぬいのみやつこおやこのは)の邸宅を壊して法興寺の造営が始められた。 |
