While Daigo-ji Temple subsequently adopted concurrent study of the Shingon Sect (Tomitsu), which a school of the Esoteric Buddhism, and the Sanron Sect, which is a school of the non-esoteric Buddhism, Tonan-in Temple regarded the Sanron Sect as the axis of teachings; however, the temple accepted Buddhist monks who studied the Shingon Sect. その後も醍醐寺は密教である真言宗(東密)と顕教の三論宗を兼学せしめたが、東南院も三論宗と機軸としながら、真言宗を学ぶ僧侶も受け入れた。 |
