| The current Hondo (main hall), Hojo, Kuri etc. were rebuilt after the Meiji period but other mediaeval structures including the Sammon Gate, Tosu (lavatory), Yokushitsu (bathing room) and Zendo (meditation hall) escaped the fire to remain to this day and become designated National Treasures. |
