| The center of the interior serves as a place of worship for the Shingyo-den that stands to its north and it enshrines the statues of individuals closely related to the history of Daikaku-ji Temple such as Emperor Saga, Kobo-Daishi (Kukai), the Cloistered Emperor Go-Uda and Kojaku-Hosshinno. |
