In the summer of 1820, a shopkeeper of a bookshop introduced Kanetane to Atsutane HIRATA's works including "Tama no Mihashira" (Concept of Afterlife), "Koshi Seibun" (Early History) and "Koshicho" (Clarification of Early History), then he grew a longing for the study of Japanese Kodo. |
