He was awarded the rank of Jugoi (Junior Fifth Rank) in 1031, and thereafter held the titles Shonagon (lesser councilor of state), Kurodo (Chamberlain), Mokuryo (Bureau of Carpentry), and benkan (officials of the dajokan). |
